Robert Lewis Partin, Jr.

Robert Lewis Partin Jr., 87, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 24th, 2026.  He was born May 30th, 1938, to Robert Lewis Partin Sr., and Sophie (Early) Partin.

He is survived by his wife Mitzi (Moses) Partin, by one daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Terry McKeehan of Gray. Kentucky, by three grandchildren; Leslie Skidmore of Newport Richie, Florida, Pastor Eddie Inman and wife Crystle of Gray, Kentucky, and Mindy Smith and husband John of Wollum, Kentucky, by two sisters; Zella Davenport, and Sharon Skeen and husband Jim, all of Corbin, Kentucky, and by one brother; Estle Partin and wife Wanda of Corbin, Kentucky. He also leaves behind ten great-grandchildren to mourn his passing.

 He was retired from CSX Railroad and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Funeral services for Robert Lewis Partin Jr. will be conducted 2:00pm Friday in Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randall Davenport and Pastor Eddie Inman officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky. The family of Robert Lewis Partin Jr. will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.

 Pallbearers will be Grady Rogers, Glen Tompkins, David Cathers, Jon Smith, Dewayne Miller, and Carl Miller Jr.
