Brenda (Smith) Smith

Ms. Brenda Smith, age 81 of Louisville, Kentucky and formerly of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday evening at the Seneca Place Health and Rehabilitation Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was the mother of Michael Smith of Los Angeles, California, Steven Smith of Louisville, Kentucky. She was the mother-in-law of Debbie Smith of Louisville, Kentucky. She was the sister of Jerry Smith and wife, Connie of Greenville, South Carolina and Sonya Hampton of Pineville, Kentucky. She was the grandmother of Jessica, Justin, Trevor and Taylor. She was also blessed with several nieces and nephews, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smith, by her parents, Roscoe and Dorothy Unthank Smith, by one son, Mark Smith, by one grandchild, Jenna Kay and by two brothers, Terry Smith and Infant Larry Smith. She was retired from Bee Line Courier Service and was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services for Ms. Brenda Smith will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. The family will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Graveside services and burial for Ms. Brenda Smith will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon in the Chapel at the Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, Kentucky.
